ARCAgent™ Weld Monitor 

At the core of the ARCAgent™ weld monitoring system is a specifically engineered data acquisition system for real-time acquisition and decision making of welding parameter inputs. Using sensors attached to the welding equipment, the ARCAgent™ acquires and analyzes the welds using established process control limits. Below is an example of 1 specific weld over a series of 3 different parts.

Patented Part Tracking™

The ARCAgent™ utilizes a tracking algorithm called Part Tracking™ to configure, organize, display, and coordinate Weld Signature™ data and results. Part Tracking™ tools available via ARClient® software allow for the display of weld monitor results on a graphical picture(s) of the part.

Process Control via Arc Data Monitoring

The probability of shipping bad welds is the greatest when, not if, your welding equipment or process becomes unstable. Using ARCAgent™ technology, you can identify instabilities in your process before they become bad welds. When an unstable or bad weld is detected, the ARCAgent™ will alarm the weld cell or operator and can be used to shut down the process or simply require an acknowledgement that a process fault was detected.

Real-time OEE and Production Views

ARClient® now provides automated tracking of OEE and real-time production views including: total part results, total weld results, total wire used, total gas used, total deposition, and more. All this information comes from the ARCAgent™ weld monitor system and manipulated by ARClient® to provide this great information.
